Third-party claims not covered by conflict of laws rules, CJEU says

In a preliminary ruling concerning multiple German-law governed debts secured against a Luxembourgish employer, the European Court of Justice has found that conflict of laws rules do not apply where a debt has been assigned against a third-party.
