Takata sues bankruptcy administration vendor over mailing list mishap

Beleaguered Japanese car parts manufacturer Takata has launched an adversary suit against a bankruptcy administration vendor who it says botched a list of nearly 5 million addresses of possible creditors – and has asked the Delaware Bankruptcy Court for permission to capitalise on a US$22m million receivable from a Mexican affiliate to dodge a tax bill that would “dilute creditor recoveries”.
