Mozambique creditors approve Eurobond restructuring

Creditors holding most of Mozambique’s US$726.5 million outstanding Eurobond have approved the government’s debt restructuring proposals, according to the country’s finance ministry.

An English appeal court has ordered the termination of a Company Voluntary Arrangement setting out payment terms for the creditors of a UK subsidiary of collapsed broker MF Global, after the emergence of an “unknown unknown” €126 million indemnity claim from Deutsche Bank.
