German state agency accelerates wind-up of Irish Bank

With assistance from Linklaters, a German government-backed “bad bank”, FMS Wertmanagement, has purchased over €3 billion in bonds from Irish and Luxembourg affiliates of banking group DEPFA, accelerating its winding up.
