French national avoids Caribbean bankruptcy on statute of limitations arguments
Rejecting a Canadian precedent, a court in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has refused to declare bankruptcy over a French national charged with money laundering in the US, because the statute of limitations had run out on his creditors’ claims.
