Big banks sue executives of bankrupt cocoa company over alleged fraudulent scheme
A group of banks are suing eight former executives of bankrupt cocoa firm Transmar, alleging they conducted a “long-running fraudulent scheme” that involved providing false financial information to induce the lenders into entering a US$360 million credit agreement.
