These include alternative credit and other new money financings, bank/bond restructurings, schemes of arrangement, security enforcements, pre-packaged administrations, Chapter 11 and other corporate and insolvency tools, debt-for-equity swaps, restructuring involving derivative instruments and debt exchanges. Prior to joining Sidley in 2017, Yen was a partner in the finance and restructuring practices of another international law firm. She also spent several years as a banking professional in Barclays Capital’s Leveraged Finance business, where she was involved in numerous buyouts, refinancings and recapitalisations.
