Ricardo, a pivotal asset in the firm’s financial and transactional practice, brings more than 15 years of experience in banking, project finance, M&A and restructuring. Joining in 2007 and rising to partnership in 2020, he guides local, international and multilateral banks, developers and firms across multifaceted financing transactions encompassing energy, transport and social infrastructure, and asset-backed financing for aircraft, vessels and more. Ricardo’s advice spans origination, refinancing and restructuring (often alongside the firm’s dispute resolution team). His expertise extends to M&A and corporate realms, aiding local and international firms in investment, establishment, acquisitions and cross-industry ventures. Ricardo is also a corporate law professor at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City.
