André Moraes Marques has been a partner since 2016 and joined the corporate restructuring team in 2004. Mr Marques holds an LLM degree from Columbia Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of São Paulo. He worked as a foreign associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York. He is a visiting professor of restructuring and bankruptcy at the Institute of Management Foundation and teaches classes for trustees in training courses organised by the Brazilian chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.

He focuses his practice on corporate reorganisation and bankruptcy; debt recovery and renegotiation; and civil and commercial litigation.
