UK stockbrokers in administration amid US$50m US securities fraud
A UK-based stockbroker and its sister company have been placed into administration after they were named in a US$50 million international securities fraud and money-laundering scheme – with allegations pending in the US that they tried to “cleanse” dirty money by buying a Picasso painting.
