UK Judge scolds Brazilian oil company for abuse of foreign recognition
UK High Court Justice Richard Snowden has criticised Brazilian oil company OGX of abusing the cross-border recognition process for insolvency proceedings, by applying to have a Brazilian reorganisation plan recognised in the UK solely to stay a London-based arbitration against it.
