UK court dismisses German businessman’s bankruptcy petition despite English COMI

The High Court in London has thrown out a bankruptcy petition filed by the German co-founder of a defunct UK-based management consultancy, finding that while his centre of main interests was in England, he was not insolvent at the time of the filing.
