The new owners of Toys “R” Us’ brand rights have cancelled an auction of its intellectual property assets, telling a US bankruptcy court they plan to bring the retailer back – just days after the judge extended the toy retailer’s automatic stay and granted injunctive relief to halt an Asian partner’s arbitration in Hong Kong.
