Takata settles with injured drivers to secure support for Chapter 11 plan
Troubled Japanese airbag manufacturer Takata has reached a settlement with creditors, carmakers and counsel to people injured by its airbag inflators, paving the way for approval of its Chapter 11 plan and the sale of the viable parts of its business to Michigan’s Key Safety Systems.
