Singapore court recognises Hong Kong voluntary liquidation citing “internationalist concerns”

The Singapore High Court has recognised the appointment of liquidators over Hong Kong shipping company Gulf Pacific, despite the debtor being in voluntary liquidation and outside of the common law powers of assistance laid out by Lord Sumption in the Singularis decision.
