Singapore court clarifies maritime lien registration, rejects call for London arbitration
A Singapore court has refused to stay a lien dispute arising out of the liquidation of a Singaporean ship charterer in favour of London maritime arbitration, in a case that counsel for both sides agree brings "the tension" between insolvency law and admiralty law to the fore.
