PwC ordered to pay US$625 million for negligent bank audit
A judge has ordered PricewaterhouseCoopers to pay the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation US$625 million in damages for negligent auditing of Alabama’s Colonial BancGroup, which collapsed in 2009 following a “massive fraud”.
