Peru’s GyM completes restructuring after Odebrecht pipeline cancellation

Peruvian commercial conglomerate Graña y Montero has restructured US$150 million in debt as part of a massive turnaround and divestment programme related to the cancellation of an Odebrecht-backed pipeline project - whose financing was scuppered by the Brazilian engineering company’s embroilment in the Lava Jato cash-for-contracts kickback scheme.
