Is a PDVSA restructuring looming?

Venezuelan lawyers have welcomed a tentative proposal from state-owned oil company PDVSA for a restructuring that would privatise various assets and allow investors to hold larger shares in its oil fields. But they've warned there's a long list of economic, legal and political hurdles to be overcome before anything can be put into practice.
