New York bankruptcy court abstains on Chrysler section 363 enforcement

In a case examining the gatekeeping role of bankruptcy courts asked to enforce section 363 sale orders that provide for a “free and clear” disposal of assets, a New York bankruptcy judge has found that a Florida district court should be left to interpret an order stemming from Chrysler’s decade-old Chapter 11 restructuring.
