MoFo leads 32-firm amicus brief against bankrupt firm’s clawback claim
A group of 32 mostly international law firms have submitted an amicus brief to a California court arguing that where a legal practice enters bankruptcy, cases that were ongoing at the time should be considered the property of the firm’s clients, not the firm itself.
