Maritime liens ruling provides clarity on OW Bunker bankruptcy claims

In a ruling that could impact several US court proceedings related to the global bankruptcy of Danish ship fuel contractor OW Bunker, a court in New York has found that ING Bank, as assignee to an OW Bunker subsidiary, holds a maritime lien against vessels that the bankrupt entity had contracted to supply with fuel.
