KPMG defeats “gag order” to seek evidence from debtor’s directors

KPMG in Canada has defeated a “gag order” preventing it from interviewing the former directors of an insolvent payday lender to gather evidence in defence of a C$300 million (US$219 million) damages claim for alleged auditor’s negligence.
