Insolvent Scottish fashion company has “legal duty” to English Environment Agency
By taking control of contaminated land in England and failing to take measures to remediate before it became insolvent, a Scottish fashion company has fallen within the regime of English environmental legislation, the Scottish Court of Session has ruled.
