Hong Kong court orders oral testimony in support of Cayman winding-up

The High Court of Hong Kong has assisted the liquidators of a Cayman Islands education company by ordering the company’s former chairman to give evidence in Hong Kong, finding that it was not blocked by statute purportedly requiring authorisation from China.
