High Court lifts Korean stay on STX offshore to allow UK litigation

The High Court of England and Wales has lifted an automatic stay imposed on the UK assets of Korean shipbuilder STX allowing a group of creditors to continue pursuing a claim against the company in British courts – a judgment reasoned on the premise that it would ultimately assist the Korean bankruptcy court that ordered the stay.
