Guernsey court sanctions "unusual" HSBC ring-fencing scheme
A Guernsey court has, for the first time, sanctioned a scheme of arrangement that transfers a banking business between related companies, in a bid to meet bank ring-fencing regulations introduced in the UK after the global financial crisis.
