Greek haircut claim is exempt from Brussels I, CJEU advocate general says

An advocate general of the European Court of Justice has gone against the tide of recent European jurisprudence, finding that the Brussels I Regulation on jurisdictional rules for EU courts does not apply to an Austrian national’s claim against Greece over bonds exchanged in its 2012 sovereign debt restructuring.
