French bank scolded for “warehousing” UK proceedings to chase Turkish insolvency
A UK court has found that French bank Société Générale abused legal process by maintaining freezing orders for eight years over more than US$480 million in assets belonging to Turkish jewellery maker Goldas, while pursuing insolvency litigation against the company in Turkey.
