Canadian plan shields ice company from dividend claim, Third Circuit rules

In a precedential decision, a New York appeals court has ruled in favour of the parent of a Canadian ice producer saying that releases from liability in 2014 restructuring plan barred plaintiffs from seeking dividends on stocks they bought during its reorganisation.
