Canadian court emphasises “deferential approach” to foreign judgments
The Court of Appeal for British Columbia has said Canadian courts must adopt a “deferential approach” to the enforcement of foreign judgments, registering de novo an order made by a US court against David Dill, an alleged broker of a Ponzi scheme.
