Banana group founder can’t use UK insolvency law to dodge Russian liabilities

The England and Wales High Court has ordered the formerly bankrupt founder of an international banana group to pay a Russian bank around US$140 million after inducing it to provide a loan by instructing staff to falsify accounts while dissipating the company's assets.
