Azeri bank denied indefinite moratorium on appeal
An English appeal court has denied a restructured Azeri bank’s request for an indefinite moratorium that would stop creditors enforcing English-law governed claims, in a decision described as raising “important questions” on the scope of courts’ powers under the UK Cross-Border Insolvency Rules.
