Foreign liquidators need court approval to transfer assets, rules Hong Kong judge

A Hong Kong judge has ruled that foreign liquidators require a court order before they can transfer local assets, clarifying a recognition order he made last year for a Chinese mining and manufacturing company’s Cayman court-appointed provisional liquidators.
